  1. One thing I learned is make as many mistakes❌ as possible and learn from them when you are 20πŸ‘Ά.
And even it's not necessary the mistakes should be of yours😎

  2. β€œYou will make the average of your 5 closest friends.” Of course when I heard this all my friends were broke…so the past 2 years I’ve hung out with only 1 of those friends and constantly reading books and learning from mentors πŸ“š BEST decision of my life! Good video Dan

  3. Being aware of the programming I recieved as a kid that I still am forming my decisions on 50 years later! WTF- googd stuff DeadBeat

  4. We could talk all day about this Dan. I'm 49 and the bullshit we were fed when I was growing up was ludicrous. I have put a whole lot together. I understood everything you just said perfectly. You are 100% correct about how jealous people are. No one is going to throw you a party if you find great success. I've already had enough success to disprove my dad's entire philosophy and many others. They don't like it one bit lol People have a tough time with the truth, this is just tall grade school lol Nothing but children out there.

  5. Man i'm so happy that you showed your video, and this video is awesome thanks dude. Is why im a deadbeat and follow your youtube teachings.

  6. Dan, great video and subject. I am 60. When I was your age I started my own music business. I was very successful (no internet then!) I bought a beautiful house on the water in Ft. Lauderdale. Then the women came a knockin' They got me in plenty of trouble (I let them). It really threw me for a loop. I bounced back but it set me back a number of years. My advice to people in their 20s or 30's, especially men: Do everything you say,.but do not forget about emotional balance. You are better off getting married young and staying faithful to one woman. She has to have a good character and be family oriented. Stick with one woman that you meet young and you will both miss out on years of heart ache and be much wealthier in many ways. All the best. Matt.

  8. POINT#1. Don't hang around with deadbeats, except for Dan of course πŸ˜‰ #2. Hang around with Successful Business people & read their Autobiography (leaders, salesmen&women, managers, copywriters, entrepreneurs, etc) #3. Learn the skill: Sales i.e read "Triggers by Joseph Sugarman #4. Develop good habits, replace bad habits 1 at a time #5. Master money i.e Earn, save; invest in your YouTube channel, Blog (authority/niche), Build up your Facebook presence; protect your assets/nest eggs i.e LLC(layer of protection), contracts, living trust(pass it on, save on taxes), multiple streams of income(in case one fails)

  9. Dan, great video! In our 20s we begin to decide who we want to be, and so do our friends. Sometimes we're going in the same direction, and sometimes we're not- that's just fine. Just know that you're enough, and as long as you're on a path that will fully realize your potential and your dreams, know you're exactly where you should be, and doing everything you need to be doing. So love yourself completely because you're the best advocate you have. My best!

  10. I just touched 26 and grateful to listen to it now. Here are the things that I wished I knew: 1. Procrastination: How to deal with it? 2. How to avoid shiny object syndrome? 3. How to prioritize? 4. I wish I subscribed to people like you.

  11. I find that "just getting started" and just creating content is great for learning about one's self and what actually works for him/her. Mimicry will not always be effective because everyone and their niche is different; there are just so many variables so one really has to find the right fit!

If I were to go back in time, I wish I wasn't so fixated on getting a college degree and becoming a good employee as opposed to just starting my own business (I also need to thank you Dan for inspiring me and teaching me the ways to do so!)

  12. The past cannot be changed BUT the future is yet in your power. Always focus on positivity and be present. Never stop learning. Make every opportunity a learning opportunity. Better late than never. Maybe you guys might have seen me on other videos but anytime I write a comment, I always tell my story with it so people know why I am saying what I am saying πŸ™‚ – also to keep inspiring other people because for me, reading other people's success journey is so motivating. πŸ™‚ We own a cookie shop business in our college town. When we first started it, we were living in our car with very little direction, just a huge passion to be successful. We just graduated college as well. We started a cookie shop out of a local bagel shop in their off hours at night. We were living in our car in the parking lot of the shop at the time with my boyfriend, Bran. It was a crazy experience but it worked! We became a success! And how we have our first storefront location (a second launching soon!) We started it to fund a year long backpacking trip around the world and to be successful while living the life of our dreams.

"Success in life is the result of good judgment. Good judgment is usually the result of experience. And experience is usually the result of bad judgment." Tony Robbins

  14. Awesome to see your progress! I have looked at so many "first videos" of the channels that inspire me. It always helps to remind me that everyone starts out the same. Can't wait to look back on my first embarrassing videos a few years from now lol. (I'm already embarrassed by my first vids).

  15. Good video Dan.
I wish I would have quit alcohol when I was in my 30's.
In my 50's now and would be way ahead of where I am today.
Alcohol sucks up your money causes issues with relationships and physically over time it kills you. Today is day 80 sober and it feels awesome.

  16. I've made so many mistakes it's hard to pick only a few things I wish I'd known. I wish I wasn't so serious and had more fun. I wish I knew I could make money without college. I wish I had worked harder to be more physically fit. I wish I had known better than to get involved with someone who's life was a mess. O wish I had done everything differently.

  17. Good vid. – I am curious as to what 'equipment' you use – obviously a camera with 'follow' tech, good mic. and what vid. editor that makes yours so smooth???
Also it looks to me as if you do Not use a script that you read, so I assume that you wing it with memorized message, and edit as needed clarity and time??
Thanks for All of your encouragement and knowledge.
    Mike S.
